Politician

Abdul Aleem Khan an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and a politician. He was born in Lahore, Pakistan, on October 5, 1972. After completing his early education at Crescent Model School, Lahore, he obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Government College University Lahore.

Abdul Aleem Khan made his political debut in 2002 when he was elected to the Provincial Assembly of Punjab from Constituency PP-147. He was inducted into the Provincial Punjab cabinet and appointed as the Provincial Minister for Information Technology. He remained in this position until 2007.

In February 2013, he was elected as the President of PTI Lahore. In July 2016, he became the president of the party’s Central Punjab. He was elected to the Provincial Assembly of Punjab in the 2018 general elections.

On August 27, 2018, he was inducted into the Provincial Punjab cabinet and appointed as the Provincial Minister of Punjab for Local Government and Community Development. He was given the status of a senior minister in the cabinet.

Abdul Aleem Khan holds the esteemed position of President of Istehkam-e-Pakistan, a political party that emerged in 2023. He is currently serving as a member of the National Assembly after being elected from Constituency NA 117, Lahore. Under the present government which was formed as a result of the general elections held in February 2024, he has been entrusted with the portfolio of the Federal Minister for Privatization with the additional charge of the Board of Investment.

Philanthropy:

Abdul Aleem Khan, as an entrepreneur and philanthropist, has always believed in giving back to the community. Therefore, he established the Abdul Aleem Khan Foundation, which is currently working in various sectors including Education, Health, and Community Development. The foundation is currently running hundreds of free water filtration plants, free dispensaries, and orphanages for girls under the name ‘Apna Ghar,’ Rising Sun Institute for special children, and Begum Naseem Khan Memorial Girls High School, providing free education for underprivileged girls.

The Abdul Aleem Khan Foundation continuously makes financial contributions to the Health and Education sector by donating to various institutions. The foundation has also made contributions to various jails across Punjab, Pakistan, for the rehabilitation and welfare of prisoners. Additionally, the foundation has taken up the responsibility to help pay the fines of prisoners who have completed their sentences but cannot afford to pay, to secure their release and give them another chance at a better life.

Entrepreneur :

Abdul Aleem Khan is the owner of Vision Group, a real estate development company in Pakistan that owns ventures such as Park View City Lahore and Islamabad, Samaa TV, and CineStar Cinemas, among others.

Parkview City (Islamabad):

Vision Group launched the Parkview City (PVC) project in the scenic Islamabad Capital Territory back in 2018. The PVC project is meant to complement the iconic botanical gardens and the Capital Development Authority’s farming project. Since its inception, Parkview City Islamabad has become an important statement of the finest lifestyle and has gained a reputation for timeless quality. The total planned area for the project is estimated at 15,000 kanals. Major infrastructure work has already been completed on more than 6,000 kanals of land, which includes houses and commercial buildings.

Parkview City (Lahore):

Parkview City Lahore is a residential society situated at the most accessible points of Lahore. The housing scheme, originally developed on 765 kanals of land, has now been extended to more than 12,000 kanals. Further plans to extend the project to 31,000 kanals are now underway. This includes residential plots ranging from 5 marlas to 1 kanal, and commercial plots from 4 marlas to 8 marlas.The land will include state-of-the-art infrastructure and vital amenities such as roads, water, sewers, electricity, gas, parks, mosques, schools, and graveyards.
